Embracing and savoring the hatred that festered with every breath he took, King Sirus gathered an army of thousands. In his quest to destroy his sister and find the disciples, he crushed all that dared to stand in his way. His campaign of destruction unleashed a horrendous display of depravity. The intensity of savagery and brutality created seeds of revulsion even among his finest and noblest warriors. Still, their atrocities persisted, and the Earth revolved in a cauldron of tribulation. Before long King Sirus held authority over most of the known world and the mere mention of his name aroused fear and hopelessness in even the strongest of enemies. Sirus’ stunning victories in Asia, Europe and Africa, against larger and better-equipped adversaries only served to fuel his insidious rage to quell all that was good and sacred.

The rituals of spiritual abomination allowed the great armies of King Sirus to continue to massacre millions, each victory bringing him closer to his ultimate destination: finding his sister, Stacia, and unlocking the gates of hell!

Under the cover of night, a messenger with a corrupted heart and a dark purpose sought to meet with the king. “My Lord,” he began, “I come to you with information more valuable than any treasure known.” Peaking Sirus’ interest he commanded him to continue. “My name is Rajnish. I am a high priest for the Lyte on Mt. Barbone who many years ago once cared for a baby girl who, unknown to most, also bore the mark of the Prophecy.” King Sirus’ eyes glowed with pleasure as he calmly replied, “This is, indeed, something of interest to me. Tell me my treacherous friend, by what means do you wish to be compensated for such valuable information?” With the taste of bitterness rising in his traitorous mouth, Rajnish revealed, “I’ve spent my life serving the humble and meek with the hopes that I would be rewarded when my time here is through.  But I covet more. I want nothing less than to rule with you, your Greatness.” Though Rajnish was dressed in his finest clergy robes, King Sirus could feel a deep seeded evil within Rajnish and knew there was something much more disturbing that lay beneath the surface of this priest.  This greatly pleased King Sirus, and he responded, “You have made a wise choice, my friend. Your reward for this information is the coveted 13th seat within my circle of disciples and the immortality that awaits us.”

Shortly thereafter, Stacia’s whereabouts were located, and several crusades were executed against Mt. Barbone in Sirus’ attempt to kill her. King Sirus’ frustration mounted when reports came back that Argus single-handedly killed hundreds of the king’s warriors while protecting Stacia. He came to the realization that to get the job done he might have to deal with Argus himself, but not until after one final attempt. Sirus planned another assault, sending his best commanding emissary, General Wu, and Wu’s assigned assassin, Siridean. Siridean was the keeper of a special silver vial that King Sirus gave him which was to be used to carry Stacia’s blood. Their instructions were specific; kill Stacia, extract her blood and deliver it at once to the king!

The battle that ensued between Argus and Wu was ferocious. During the course of the violent altercation, both men sustained serious wounds. Eventually Argus gained the upper hand and as he positioned himself over Wu to finish him, was suddenly struck by Siridean’s weapon. Argus crumpled to the floor but not before noticing the bloody vile hanging around Siridean’s neck. Argus, though weakened from the battle and blood loss, quickly regained his strength. He is enraged to discover that he wasn’t quick enough to realize that Wu was in fact only a distraction, allowing Siridean to penetrate the front line and find Stacia. Siridean pulled Wu to safety and they managed to escape.
